Chris is the "Blackpool Rock" of Unity, if you cut him in half he would have Unity written through his body. I have worked in Chris’s team the first time I joined Unity and reported directly to him for about 2 years. There are a lot of qualities I like about Chris - he is very friendly and I would call him a friend today, but something that really stood out for me is his very calm demeanour, even throughout some of the toughest, most stressful situations, as an employee in his team I always felt safe knowing that he had my back and always advocated for what is best for us. Moreover, Chris approaches process implementation in a supportive as opposed to ‘process for the sake of process way’; throughout my time with Chris we reached a point where we had all the tools we needed to track our progress, targets, KPIs etc - all of which required a _lot_ of work behind closed doors while still being consulted on what works best for us. There is no doubt, Chris was one of the best manager I’ve ever had, always available to guide you but letting you work at your own pace and in your own way, improving the way we work, introducing process without actually making it painful for us. These are all qualities of a great leader!

Only three words come to mind when I think of Chris, and that's: "the man", "the myth", "the legend". I worked with Chris when he was leading the Solution Engineers team for Games EMEA here at Unity, and he was a consummate professional at all times.
